Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Landit. They explain what you can expect from the service and what we expect from you. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Landit, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Landit. The service is designed for the United Kingdom job market.

3. What Landit is (and isn’t)

Landit is a job-discovery tool. It reads your CV, learns what you are looking for, searches for roles, and surfaces the ones that fit with an explanation of why.

Landit is not a recruiter, employer or employment agency. We do not guarantee interviews, offers or employment, we do not submit applications on your behalf, and we are not a party to any relationship between you and an employer. Applying for a role is always your decision and takes place with the employer or job board.

4. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at support@landit.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Your CV and content

You keep ownership of your CV and the content you provide. You grant Landit a licence to store and process that content — including parsing, embedding and analysing it — solely to operate the service and deliver matches to you.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the content, that it is accurate, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or include another person’s personal data without a lawful basis. Please do not upload special-category data in your CV.

6. Acceptable use

When using Landit, you agree not to:

  • use the service for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose;
  • scrape, copy or harvest data, or build a competing product or dataset from the service;
  • reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service;
  • upload malware or misrepresent your identity; or
  • place an unreasonable load on our systems or those of our providers.

7. AI-generated content

Match scores, explanations, highlights, gap notes and any other generated text are produced by automated systems. They can be incomplete or inaccurate. Always check the details against the original job posting before relying on them. Landit does not provide career, legal, financial or other professional advice.

8. Third-party listings and links

Job listings come from third-party sources and boards. We do not control them and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or the application process. Once you leave Landit to view or apply for a role, the third party’s own terms and privacy practices apply.

9. Subscriptions and billing

Landit offers a free tier and paid (Pro) plans. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

Prices may change; we will give you notice before a change affects you. As a UK consumer you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase, except where you have asked us to begin the paid service during that period and it has been fully provided. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

10. Intellectual property

Landit, including its software, design and brand, belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. No other rights are granted.

11. Availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and there may be downtime for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

12. Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we do not warrant that the service will find you a role or meet all your requirements, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of opportunity, profits or data. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100. If you use Landit as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

13. Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that could harm Landit, other users, or our providers. On termination, your right to use the service stops; sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, where changes are material, let you know. Continuing to use Landit after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
